  Over 20 foreign countries will also display their products at the exhibition, a press release from the Agriculture Ministry said.

The Golden Fall exhibition is a traditional review of the achievements of the agricultural industry, a venue for modern technologies to be demonstrated, and the largest inter-regional and international trade platform where the main problems of the Russian agricultural industry are discussed. Russia and the world's food supply is also discussed.

The organizers said the exhibition was unique because officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, the heads of regional administrations, State Duma deputies and representatives of big and medium agricultural businesses, with whom it is possible to discuss urgent problems and often solve them, attended the exhibition.

According to the ministry's data, about 250,000 people visit the exhibition every year and the exhibition's effect on commerce increases every year.

Five specialized exhibitions will be held during Golden Fall: Russia's Food Industry, Agrotech (agricultural technology and equipment for the agricultural industry), Progressive Technologies in Livestock Breeding, Veterinary Fodder, and Agrokhimexpo. Other sections of the agricultural industry will be represented at the general exhibition.

There will be contests for the best foodstuffs, fodder and fodder mixtures, the best veterinary medicines, the best farm and other achievements in agriculture.

Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov, Agriculture Minister Alexei Gordeyev, Mayor Yury Luzhkov of Moscow, the heads of regional administrations, members of the Federation Council, State Duma deputies and representatives of public organizations, political and business quarters will attend the exhibition.
